About Rainbow
It is an annual fest which provides a platform to showcase the talents of the students
in various fields. It
was started in 2010. Every year it is
celebrated on Sunday,closest to foundation day of PRAYAAS INDIA.
It is a theme based fest. RAINBOW'19 was based on "INDIAN DEFENCE". Apart from students of PRAYAAS INDIA,
their is a huge participation from various other nearby reputed schools from Sindri to Jharia and the local
villagers.
Segments
KHELO INDIA KHELO
Khelo-India-Khelo is a multi- sports event where each and every child participate in the games of their choice. Not only it provides refreshment but also develops sportsmanship quality and boost their self-confidence. The various sports in this segment are 100 M race, 200 M race, Cycle race, Mathematics race, Sack Race, Badminton, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and many more..
NUKKAD NATAK
The first step towards solving an issue is to recognize that it exists. So we visit communities in between them and demonstrate the problem & its answer through the nukkad natak event. The Students and Volunteers of Prayaas India use this event to interact with the locals, highlighting the current problems & drawing their attention to it, & making them to think, discuss and act accordingly
POWER OF KNOWLEDGE
Public speaking is a great skill to have in life. So we conduct Speech and Debate competition, Essay Writing, Quiz competition which develops excellent communication skills and teaches them to think on their feet
SUR SANGRAM
"It is the best of all trades, to make songs. and the second best to sing them."
Singing is one of the things
that people when they want to just relax themselves. It is a form of therapy in that sense. Sur Sangram is one such platform to showcase the inner singing talent in the children, students from various schools and institutes participate.
DANCING STAR
"Dance is the language of the Soul"
A holistic development is incomplete if it does not incorporate music and dance in it. Dancing Star is one such great platform to showcase the inner dancer in the children Dancers from various schools and dancing institutes participate to become DANCING STAR.
POT PAINTING
Praayass India's event, centered around pot painting and drawing, highlights the artistic abilities and innovation of our students. Participants, organized into teams of four, are tasked with designing and paintinga pot. Join us in honoring their accomplishments, contributing to a worthy cause, and experiencing a delightful day suitable for all ages, filled with entertainment and the exploration of one-of-a-kind handmade artworks!
MEGA NIGHT
Meaga Night is the last event of Rainbow where students entertain the mob with their dance,drama,etc. A crowd of around 4000 thousand assembleon on the day of event. This is one of the biggest event of Sindri.
