About Rainbow
It is an annual fest which provides a platform to showcase the talents of the students
in various fields. It
was started in 2010. Every year it is
celebrated on Sunday,closest to foundation day of PRAYAAS INDIA.
It is a theme based fest. RAINBOW'19 was based on "INDIAN DEFENCE". Apart from students of PRAYAAS INDIA,
their is a huge participation from various other nearby reputed schools from Sindri to Jharia and the local
villagers.
Segments
VISION INDIA
This is one of the most important platform to bring out innovative ideas from their minds to serve the humanity. This is mainly exhibition show where students put their ideas into static and dynamic models. Tanks, missile, army camp were some of the previous models.
AKANSHA
It includes Singing, Dancing, Poetry, and Laughter show which provides a stage for children to display their talents. Performing Arts not only engages with the creative side of the brain, it also provides an ideal balance in students’ patterns of study.
AKRITI
It is the Art-n-craft section of Rainbow. Children show their creativity and artistic caliber. It includes Mehndi, Rangoli, PotPainting, Card Designing and Idol making.By these activity we try to increase the imagination of students.
KHELO INDIA KHELO
Sports and games encompass more than just the benefits of physical things, it increases in confidence, self-esteem and mental alertness. Khelo India Khelo provides a platform where students takes part in sports of their choice and enjoy it.
POWER OF KNOWLEDGE
Public speaking is a great skill to have in life. So we conduct Speech and Debate competition, Essay Writing, Quiz competition which develops excellent communication skills and teaches them to think on their feet.
JAGRITI
In order to generate awarness among people of Sindri, Prayaas India conducts Rally and Nukkad natak every year. The theme of of last rally was "SAVE TREE SAVE LIFE".
MEGA NIGHT
Meaga Night is the last event of Rainbow where students entertain the mob with their dance,drama,etc. A crowd of around 4000 thousand assembleon on the day of event. This is one of the biggest event of Sindri.
